On behalf of our client, ALL Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are recruiting for a Senior Human Resource Advisor for a three‑month labour hire arrangement, based in Darwin, to provide coverage while we recruit to the ongoing role.
This position will sit within thePeople & Culture Division and report to the Director People & Culture. The candidate will provide trusted HR advice to leaders, manage complex HR casework, support learning and development initiatives, and ensure consistent application of people policies and procedures across the organisation.
Selection Criteria
Position Specific Requirements
1. Qualifications in Human Resources or demonstrated 5 years of experience in Human Resources
2. Demonstrated working knowledge of Fair Work Act and contemporary HR practices
3. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels including people with different cultures
4. Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
5. High level of discretion and sound judgement with confidential and sensitive information
6. Demonstrated leadership skills to provide direction to a small team
7. An understanding of Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander community structures or protocols
8. Demonstrated willingness to participate in supervision, review performance, and adhere to work plans and reasonable workplace directives
General Criteria
1. Demonstrated commitment to work respectfully and inclusively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse people.
2. Demonstrated understanding of the issues that impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
4. Demonstrated adherence to legislation, policies and procedures and a commitment to EEO, WHS, risk management and quality improvement practices.
5. Northern Territory Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
6. National Police Criminal History Report (less than three months old) with acceptable outcome.
7. Ability to meet additional visa / overseas work compliance measures.
8. Northern Territory Driver’s Licence.
