Training Development Officer ICT

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking a Training Development Officer

for a temporary role for approx. 6 months with the possibility of extension.

  • $65.09 per hour including casual loading
  • Brisbane CBD location

Duties include:

  • Assist the Change and Training Manager in ongoing activities, for example: updating coordination artefacts and tools to achieve on-time project outcomes, metrics, and reporting, with specific focus on stakeholder engagement, communications and training (e.g. update communications, engagement, and training schedule; readiness, and feedback artefacts).
  • Collaborate with the project team and subject matter experts to help support coordination and contribute to development of engagement, communication, readiness and training deliverables, including maintenance of trackers, schedules, action logs and stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Support the coordination of various stakeholders including the Change Advocate Network, Product Owners, Business Reference Group (BRG), SME’s, Trainers, IOMS users and other key stakeholders as directed by the Change and Training Manager.
  • Provide a bridge between the program, projects and the business users to ensure that activities are planned and completed, enabling all impacted stakeholders to implement the agreed changes and realise anticipated benefits.
  • Assist with engagement and communications as well as engage and communicate directly with stakeholders and manage their input (e.g. Triage the Project Email and maintain inputs and triage within the Centralised Feedback and FAQ Log).
  • Assist with the planning and facilitation of stakeholder meetings and workshops in addition to the planning and delivery of presentations.
  • Assist with the coordination of stakeholders for Go live activities including Hypercare, Change Advocate and IOMS users coordination, and Project team travel.
  • Support creation of training materials, trainers, assist in familiarisation and training to stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous project or engagement and/or training coordination experience.
  • Exceptional time management and preferred experience coordinating a wide range of administration, engagement, training and reporting functions to varying timeframes.
  • Experience using planning tools such as Asana, MS Planner, Devops Kanban, Jira or similar way of working in a task board.
  • Experience in using MS 365 including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written communication skills, high attention to detail and accuracy in support of communication and engagement preparation and documentation management.
  • Ability to understand, relate to and manage diverse and difficult stakeholder needs.
  • Outstanding levels of productivity coupled with attention to detail.
  • Experience in, or an ability to rapidly acquire a detailed understanding of the Queensland Corrective Services operational and ICT environment.
  • Experience in or ability to rapidly acquire a working knowledge of the IOMS system
